About the Community Giving House

The Community Giving House was designed to build a home completely for the benefit of charity, while also partnering with our many trade partners to help them be part of something bigger. Our headquarters in Vancouver built its first Giving House back in 2014 and in 2020 Puget Sound built its first!, now with over $70,000 being donated to make a difference for local nonprofit organizations here in the Puget Sound. The inception of the Community Giving House signified the company’s commitment to building a stronger, healthier local community where families can flourish, businesses can prosper and today’s youth can become tomorrow’s leaders. We considered the legacy we want to leave our successors — one of charitable contribution, altruism, and philanthropy that begets a prosperous, connected community. We wanted to be part of something bigger. By aligning ourselves with strategic community partners, Garrette Custom Homes and Pacific Lifestyle Homes have identified charities that make daily contributions to the health, wellness, and sustainability of the greater Puget Sound region. We were discerning in our choices and we are proud of the relationships we have fostered with the organizations that exist to enact change and challenge the disparities and struggles faced by far too many families today. The local charities that receive proceeds from the Puget Sound Community Giving Houses are:
