The last few years have seen changes in how people live in their homes, as people are spending more time in them and even working from home. This has had an impact on the types of homes in Southwest WA that people are looking for when searching for a new home. New home construction does have the benefit of often allowing buyers to craft a home to their particular needs and we offer an extensive range of floor plans to make that easier. Still, certain trends are picking up speed as we head into 2023.

With people still spending more time at home, energy efficiency is more important than ever. While new construction homes are already built to higher standards than older homes, there’s a demand for more energy-efficient appliances, building techniques, and other options that will help save on energy costs. More new homes are being built with smart home technology in mind. As part of the growth in energy-efficiency, many appliances now work smarter, thanks to this technology. Even separate dining rooms have started to make a comeback, while still maintaining dine-in kitchen areas for more casual meals.
