Employee Spotlight: Syd Balla

Syd Balla, who plays an important early role in the home-buying experience, is a great addition to our team.

Syd is a New Homes Sales Associate, meaning he’s often the first person you may meet. “My job consists of speaking with potential new home prospects who have interest in our homes/communities,” he explains. “After finding out a client’s criteria, I can schedule them to meet with one of our new home’s sales consultants and/or attend one of our seminar events.”

He joined our team four months ago, and he has a professional real estate license, and is an experienced re-sale real estate agent, having previously worked with Century 21 North. He is also a recipient of the Elite Sales Award, and the Voice of Customer Award.

According to Syd, a typical day sees him giving tours of our model homes, and following up with clients that have an inquiry. It’s important that this first contact is a positive and helpful experience and he takes his role seriously.

This native of Tacoma is experienced at combining seriousness with a fun adventure. “A fun fact about me is that I enjoy action sports so much that I consider myself an adrenaline junkie. I am a level 2 PSIAA-certified snowboard instructor and have coached snowboarders for over 5 years.” Along with extreme hobbies, he also enjoys the creativity of everything from point-of-view quadcopter drones to photography and cinematography.
